Student loan question?
The question
I received financial aid for 2011-2012 school year. I am not attendin fall quarter, so I don’t get that aid for fall quarter. I guess they’ll just remove it from my award letter. I accepted a large student loan to help with other expenses. I was looking forward to getting the loan in 3 refunds, fall, quarter, and spring. Today the financial aid advisor acted like she had no thought whether or not I’d get any money back for fall quarter since I am not attending. It makes sense, but before another counselor said I could accept the loan in full and didn’t mention not getting it all back. So has anyone accepted a government direct student loan, but skipped a quarter? I’m going back in winter.
