I’m 38w3d and okay, maybe I’ve left it a bit late, we started the blankets, towels and hospital outfits two weeks ago, today I’m going to do the rest – or I might push my luck and wait a bit longer… I’m trying to leave it as late as possible as the days are painfully long and drawn out at the moment – once that’s done there’s just NOTHING left to do!

If you do any now, you’ll probably have to do it again later but you’ll have security of knowing it’s done just in case bub comes early.

depends what season you are in if the weather is going to be fine leave it a bit longer but if the weather is not so fantastic do it soon so you know everything will be done on time

Do it now while you feel like it. I’m 36 weeks and I started washing everything two days ago. I’m only about half way through it because to be honest, I’m too bone idle.

I would wait until ur about 34-36 weeks and of course I know you’re going to use Dreft. You should also use that on your clothes too since you will be holding the baby alot and he/she will be touching your clothes. Excellent luck and congrats.

I am very much against going into debt for a wedding. This is not a excellent way to start your future. Have a budget wedding instead. The most effective way to curb your spending is to trim the guest list.

A friend of mine took out a loan to pay for her wedding and she has regretted it ever since. She took out a personal loan for $ 7,000 to add to the rest that they had saved, In my opinion too many things are happening now with the economy in a rut. Why not have a small wedding that you can afford and then maybe have a huge 5th or 10th anniversary party (just a suggestion).

I feel your pain. My fiance and I are doing everything we can to save up money. I’m getting married in 2012 also. We are going to do everything in our power to avoid having to get a loan. We are both working and he just got a second job to help save up even more. Thankfully my parents offered to pay for the reception venue (which includes food and cake.) We are paying for everything else. I was shocked to see how expensive everything is. We live in NJ and unfortunately everything is expensive here as far as weddings go. But we are trying.
